Wyler Art Studio News: June 2009
 Kris Wyler's paintings, Miriam and
Happily Shorn, will
be on display at St. Paul's Art Show, Friday, June 12th through
Sunday June, 14th. A reception will be held on Friday,
June 12th, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., at St. Paul's Catholic Church,
241 South Main Street, North Canton, Ohio. The reception is
open to the public.
 Kris is also one of fifty artists displaying work at the
North
Canton Art Walk on Sunday, June 14th, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Regatta, Benjamin,
On Mrs. Jenning's Sideboard, and some of her
Native American
portraits will be on display in the International Brotherhood of
Electrical Workers (IBEW) building at 111 South Main Street, North
Canton, Ohio.
Art Teachers: Kristine Wyler is offering two art classes
this summer at Malone College in Canton, Ohio. Watercolor for Art Teachers
will be offered June 22-26. Students will learn to do "pours," fix
watercolor mistakes, and if weather permits, they will try plein air
painting. Acrylic Painting Projects for Art Teachers will be
offered July 6-10, and will offer the student experience with a
variety of acrylic paints, gels, textures, mediums and finishes. For

 Through the Eye
of the Needle by Kristine Wyler has been accepted in the
32nd Annual Juried Exhibition of the Ohio Watercolor Society.
The show runs from August 29, 2009 to October 4, 2009, at the Troy-Hayner
Cultural Center, 301 West Main Street, Troy, Ohio. Through
the Eye of the Needle was one of 74 works selected out of 312
entries for the show. Chen-Khee Chee was the juror. The
public is invited to the Exhibition Opening on Saturday, August
29th, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
