Fall 2009 News
 Kris's work, including her new oil painting,
Grand Teton Vista, will appear in
the Canton Artists League show, A League of Their Own, which
opens Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Stark State College. The show
extends through the end of
December, and the Opening Reception will be held Monday, November 16th,
5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The College is located
at 6200 Frank Ave. NW, Jackson Township, and the exhibition will be
in the Stark State Gallery on the second floor of the Student Center.
Works of art will be for sale, with 10% of the proceeds going to the
Campus Aesthetics Fund. For more information about this exhibit, please call

Wyler's abstract painting,
Through the Eye of the Needle appears this
Fall in the 32nd Annual Juried Exhibition of the Ohio
Watercolor Society.
The show opened August 29th and runs through October 4th, 2009, at the Troy-Hayner
Cultural Center, 301 West Main Street, Troy, Ohio. Through
the Eye of the Needle was one of 74 works selected out of 312
entries for the show. Chen-Khee Chee was the juror. The
public opening is 2:00 - 5:00 p.m., Saturday, August 29th,
2009.
 Inner
Journey to the Garden of Gethsemane has been selected to
appear in the Canton Artist League show, A Splash of Color,
at the Massillon Museum. The show runs from August 22 through
September 27, 2009, in Studio M. The exhibition opening is Saturday,
August 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. The Massillon Museum is located at 122
Lincoln Way East, Massillon, Ohio.
Other new works by Kristine Wyler this fall include
Japanese Doll,
Benjamin, and
The Franciscan Way.
